“Best for Smart Traffic control System and LPR”

Seyeon Tech, a specialized IP camera manufacturer, recently announced the launch of a global shutter IP camera module (model name: FWC-EX2-900) suitable for smart traffic control systems or LPR (license plate recognition). It has a 3M resolution and its main feature is that it supports the Frame sync function. Frame sync is a function that synchronizes video frames when each module is connected using the Frame sync connector on the IP camera module.

In order to detect and recognize multi-lane high-speed vehicles in time, video recording, speed measurement, and lane change detection are required at the exact moment. In addition, for the accuracy of AI video analysis, comparison analysis of different angles and the same time of the same vehicle is also required. Frame synchronization between IP cameras is essential to reduce time difference errors in object detection and traffic flow analysis. If the video recording timing and the strobe LED timing are misaligned, the video becomes dark or the brightness becomes irregular. In addition, the exposure difference between frames is significant, which affects the vehicle recognition rate. Overexposure may occur at night due to strobe LED interference.

When using FWC-EX2-900, the video shooting timing and the Strobe LED timing are precisely synchronized even when using one or more Strobe LEDs on multiple camera modules. Therefore, it is suitable for developing a composite camera with multiple IP camera modules. In addition, through a separate module that supports Frame Sync, synchronization is possible even when the IP cameras are separated by up to 20m. Therefore, even when installing multiple global shutter IP cameras on the road, comfortable video shooting is possible without interference from the Strobe LED.

The module supports P-IRIS as an option and can utilize MicroSD, DI/DO, two-way Audio, and various lenses. In addition, the open AI SDK intensively fostered by Seyeon Tech can be applied, so customers can upload their desired AI model and internalize the AI IP camera.

Seyeon Tech is the original manufacturer of IP cameras, and both hardware and software are 100% made in Korea. Since it can respond in real time to the TTA security standards that change every six months, inquiries from customers requiring public procurement standard compliance and TTA security certification are increasing explosively. In addition, it is about to receive support for the National Intelligence Service security certification scheduled for April 2025, and it also complies with the NDAA to be suitable for overseas exports. It has already started selling to customers in Taiwan and the United States, and in the United States, it is being used in AI-based LPR and automobile characteristic analysis systems.
